Roger E. Bock

Roger E. Bock, age 83, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Friday, September 6, 2013, at Heisinger Nursing Home. He was born February 26, 1930, in Klemme, Iowa, the son of Phillip H. and Anna C. Lashen Bock, both of whom preceded him in death. Roger was united in marriage December 25, 1948 in Nashua, Iowa, to Jane Ausenhus whom preceded him in death. Roger then married Waltraud Colclasure, whom also preceded him in death. He was employed for the state of Missouri until his retirement. Roger enjoyed fishing, bingo, and loved to travel. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include one son: Roger Bock and his wife Kathy of Jefferson City, Mo.; four daughters: Judy Hoback, Eldon, Mo., Susan Vernon and her husband Lloyd of Warsaw, Mo., Cynthia Bock Whitson and her husband Christopher Whitson, California, Mo., and Patricia Webb and her husband Jule of Corbin, Ky.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roger was preceded in death, along with his parents and wife, by four brothers: Jack, Willis, Charles, and Carroll Bock. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Heisinger Chapel with Chaplin Jim Mueller officiating.
