Karen Sue Eads

Karen Sue Eads, 49, of Holts Summit, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at her home. She was born October 27, 1963, in Jefferson City. She was the daughter of Paul & Dolores (Meisel) Litsch. She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. Karen worked for Hawthorn Memorial Gardens and Pathways. She enjoyed camping and fishing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her pets. She is survived by three children: Jason Eads (Bethany Klose) of Jefferson City, Ashley Crowley (Travis Baker) of Iberia, and Cole Dippold of Jefferson City; her mother: Dolores Litsch of Holts Summit; a granddaughter: Alexis Findley of Jefferson City; two sisters: Lori Eads of Holts Summit and Tina Litsch (Robert Richardson) of Bucklin; three brothers: Paul Eads (wife Cindy) of Jefferson City, Dennis Eads (wife Peggy) of Holts Summit, and Bill Eads (wife Connie) of Lee's Summit; and a nephew: James Eads of Holts Summit. She was preceded in death by her father: Paul Litsch; her grandparents: Emil and Martha Meisel; and a sister: Barbara Eads. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Gerald Scheperle officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Karen Eads Memorial Fund.
