Mary Lee Bayne

Mary Lee Bayne, 87, of Jefferson City, died Monday, May 20, 2013, in Jefferson City. She was born December 6, 1925, in Fortuna, Missouri, a daughter of Frank Hutchison and Neva (Scott) Hutchison, who preceded her in death. On June 16, 1943, in Versailles, Missouri, Mary Lee was united in marriage to Noel Franklin Bayne, who survives at their home. Mary was a member of the First Christian Church. She loved to bowl, go dancing, play cards and cook gourmet recipes. Mary Lee was beautician for 32 years, owning her own shop in Boonville, Missouri. Mary Lee is survived by her husband: Noel; two daughters: Sandra (John) Jones of Granbury, Texas, and Joy (Mike) Young of Kansas City; three grandsons: Judson (Lisa) Jones, Nolan Young, and Derek (Mary) Young; three great-grandchildren: Ashton Jones, Makenzie Jones and Lucy Young. Mary was preceded in death by three brothers: Darrill Hutchison, Winferd "Bill" Hutchison, Lloyd Hutchison; two sisters: Lolita Davis and Lois Abeliene Thompson. According to her wishes, Mary donated her body to science research at the University of Missouri. A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
