Robert J. Routh

Mr. Robert J. Routh, age 61 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, May 13, 2013, at his home. Robert was born December 13, 1951, in St. Joseph, Mo., the son of Donzel and Beverly Henderson Routh. He was married on March 19, 1983, in Kansas City, Mo. to Venita Moore. He graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph, Mo. and attended Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo. Robert was employed as a contract computer programmer and through his career he has worked for the federal government, the Armed Forces, and several insurance agencies. He moved to Jefferson City a year and a half ago to work as a programmer with the State of Missouri. Robert always loved technology and was passionate about his work. Survivors include: three daughters, Alicia Routh of Seattle, Washington, Samantha Figueroa and her husband Roberto of Blue Springs, Mo., and Veronica Routh of Creston, Iowa; three sisters, Debbie Ringot and her husband Victor, Diane Routh, and Denise Lingle and her husband Richard, all of St. Joseph, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at Sub-Technologies, 2655 Northeast Hagen Road, Lee's Summit, Mo. 64064.
