Patsy I. Lunsford

Mrs. Patsy I. Lunsford, age 81 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013. Patsy was born January 4, 1932, in Chamois, Mo., the daughter of John B. and Melinda Withaus Curtie. She was married on February 27, 1954, in Chamois, Mo. to Owen Lunsford Jr. A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Patsy graduated from Chamois High School. A homemaker, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include: her husband of 59 years, Owen Lunsford Jr.; two daughters, Jackie Price and her husband Jim of Jefferson City, Mo. and Robin Lunsford of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Vivian Vahrenberg and her husband Emil of Jefferson City, Mo.; two granddaughters, Amanda Allen and her husband Brian of Jefferson City, Mo. and Melissa Bruemmer and her husband Brad of Jefferson City, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Allen, Haiden Allen, and Owen Bruemmer. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, LaVerne Benson and Elaine Trachsel. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Daniel Hilty officiating.
