Mrs. Lillian L. Wright, age 91 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Jefferson City Manor Care Center. Lillian was born March 21, 1922, in Union, Mo., the daughter of John and Mathilda Clark Gray. She was married on December 8, 1941, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Cleet Wright, who preceded her in death on September 19, 1994. A homemaker, Lillian was a lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area. She was a member of the First Church of God where she was also a member of the "Joy Group" Lillian enjoyed playing dominoes with her group of friends. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, solving crossword puzzles, and reading. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include: two children, Sandra Hollaway and her husband James of Jefferson City, Mo. and Randy Wright and his wife Debbie of Wildwood, Mo.; one brother, John Gray and his wife Neva of Carthage, Mo.; one sister, Marian Hilgedick and her husband Chester of Ashland, Mo.; one brother-in-law, G. W. Hartman of Webb City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Lorri Hollaway Taggart and her husband Bob, Kris Hollaway Parton, Andrew Wright, and Jeremy Wright; four great-grandchildren, Kyle Cardwell, Bailey Taggart, Tyler Parton, and Jeffrey Taggart. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Ronnie Wright; three sisters, Lucille Gary, Pauline Hamilton, and Dorothy Hartman; and three brothers, Earl Gray, Cliff Gray, and Curt Gray. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Rob Kespelher officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
