Ralph F. Dill

Ralph "Corky" F. Dill, age 70, of Linn, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. Corky was born June 30, 1942, in Linn, a son to the late Ray and Jo (Wilson) Dill. Corky was a 1960 Linn High School graduate and a United States Army veteran. Corky worked for Empire Gas as a delivery driver for a number of years and was a corrections officer at Algoa until his retirement. Corky was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed bowling, photography, and attending area basketball games. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and always enjoyed colorful conversations with his friends and family. Corky is survived by: one sister, Carol Zweifel and her husband Bryan of Linn; three nephews: Michael Zweifel and his wife Angela and their son, Nick of Columbia, Brent Zweifel and his wife Ashley and their children, Daniel and Juliann Josephine of Richmond, Mo., and Andy Zweifel and his wife Deanna of New Bloomfield. A Celebration of Corky's life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Burial will follow in the Mt. Aeriel Cemetery.
