Marvelia Marie Mueller

Marvelia Marie Mueller, 87, of Jefferson City, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Oak Tree Villas. She was born May 27, 1925, in Lohman, a daughter of Theodore and Freada (Koestner) Linsenbardt. She was a graduate of Centertown High School. On October 29, 1944, Marvelia was united in marriage to Leslie Mueller, who preceded her in death on November 23, 1986. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she volunteered with the church's Braille translation ministry. She enjoyed being outdoors, working in her yard and playing pinochle and bingo. Survivors include two children: Cheryl Neuner and husband Jim of Jefferson City, Robert Mueller and wife Barbara of Lohman; four grandchildren: Sherri Hedges, Ryan Neuner, Kurt Mueller, Keith Mueller; five great-grandchildren: Michael Hedges, Matthew Hedges, Macey Hedges, Simon Mueller, Emerson Mueller; and one sister, Lorraine Moore of Lake City, South Carolina. Marvelia was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Armend Linsenbardt; and one sister, Shirley Renken. Friends will be received from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Tony Alter officiating.
