F. LaRue Roll

F. LaRue Roll, 86, of Centertown, Mo., passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Villa Marie in Jefferson City. She was born on January 26, 1927, in Centertown, Mo., the daughter of Charlie and Mabel (Hanley) Higgins, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Ralph Johnson, who preceded her in death; and Willis Roll, who preceded her in death. She retired from Chesebrough-Ponds in Jefferson City after at least 25 years of service. She was a member of Centertown Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Woody Taggart and wife Debbie of Houston, Texas, Arnold Johnson and wife Beth of Ashland, Mo.; Gordon Roll and wife Melinda of Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters, Rhonda Bartlett and husband Dennis of Chandler, Texas, and Lora "Cissy" Roll Crocker of Jefferson City; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Dennis Higgins, of Jefferson City; one sister, Shirley Bolten of Jefferson City; four sisters-in-law, Margret Higgins of Centertown, Ginny Higgins of Jamestown, Betty Roush of Centertown and Jean Middleschwartz of California state. She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Taggart; four brothers, Clarence William "Bill" Higgins and his wife Gladys, Charles Gilbert "Bud" Higgins, Donald Higgins, and Frank Higgins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Centertown Baptist Church. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. David Phelps. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo.
