Ethel Marie Schollmeyer

Ethel Marie Schollmeyer, 90, of Jefferson City, was called to eternal life on Monday, March 11, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Jefferson City. She was born September 23, 1922, in Mount Sterling, the daughter of the late Gus and Emma (Krueger) Kreter. Ethel was united in marriage to Albert Schollmeyer on September 23, 1944. Ethel was employed with Montgomery Ward for many years. Her favorite pastimes were playing dominos and cards and watching Cardinal baseball. She is survived by her brother, Herbert Kreter of Lohman; two grandchildren, Eric Wade Schollmeyer (Angie) of Jefferson City and Holly Marie Schollmeyer (Ray Conway) of Hickory Hill; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Kameron and Kalley Schollmeyer, all of Jefferson City and Lucas Conway of Hickory Hill. She is also survived by one niece and two great-nephews and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert, March 19, 1974; her two sons: Ron, July 23, 2010, and Larry (Smiley), January 24, 2011; one sister and brother-in-law: Don and Selma Hansen and a sister-in-law: Mae Kreter.
