Erna L. Linsenbardt, 95, of Jefferson City, passed away March 3, 2013, at Adams Street Place. She was born October 29, 1917, in Honey Creek, the daughter of the late Henry G. and Frieda S. (Korsmeyer) Hirschman. She attended schools at Honey Creek and Osage Bluff. On April 27, 1939, Erna was united in marriage to Leo W. Linsenbardt, he preceded her in death on July 18, 2006. Erna worked for Quality Cleaners for a number of years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lohman and Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Erna was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed cooking, gardening and baking. Her greatest enjoyment came from being with her family and friends, especially her great-grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn "Jean" Fink of Jefferson City; one brother, Paul Hirschman and wife Ann of Nevada, Missouri; two granddaughters, Kelly Grunden and husband Scott, Leann Hager and husband Brian all of Jefferson City; and five great-grandchildren, Kara and Adam Grunden and Garrett, Tyler and Laney Hager. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James M. Fink; sister, Laura Walther; and brother, Harry Hirschman. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lohman, with Rev. Ed Merckel officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
