Marion Nile Sinnett, 76, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born November 13, 1936, in Jefferson City, a son of the late Thomas and Vaunida (Gibson) Sinnett. He was married February 12, 1966, in Jefferson City, to Judith Ann Hesterberg, who survives at home. Marion was a 1955 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He received a Bachelor degree in business administration and a Master degree in Business from Lincoln University. Marion worked as Director of the Missouri Ethics Commission, Director of the Missouri Juvenile Officers Association and as an Auditor for Savings and Loans for the State of Missouri. He was a member and past president of Meadow Lake Acres Country Club and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Samuel Edward (Keris Lynn) Sinnett of Jefferson City, and Matthew Lewis (Kate) Sinnett of Jefferson City; six grandchildren: Dillin, Claire, Emilee, Sydney, Savannah, Jack; two sisters: Jennie (Ron) Scott, Keokuk, Iowa, and Willa Sinnett, California, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law: John and Mary Sinnett. Friends will be received from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with burial immediately following in Riverview Cemetery.
