Steve E. Edgington

Steve E. Edgington, 53, of Eldon, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at his residence. On October 18, 1959, he was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to Paul C. and Carol J. (Osenbaugh) Edgington, who survive of Eldon. Steve was a member of the Eldon United Methodist Church. He was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone for 30 years until his retirement. At the time of his death he was employed with Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks working in the Eldon facility. Steve had made many trips to England and loved to travel. He enjoyed auctions and antique shows. Other survivors include: one brother, Layne Edgington of Versailles; several cousins, an aunt and an uncle. Visitation will be Sunday March 3, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon. Funeral Service will be Monday, March 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, with Rev. Steve George officiating. Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery in Eldon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Eldon United Methodist Church or the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Arrangements are under the directions of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.
