Shirley Joyce (Thompson) Fick, 75, of Holts Summit, passed away at St. Mary's Health Center on Sunday, June 23, 2013. She was born October 4, 1937, in Dixie, the daughter of the late J. Tresse Thompson and the late Furn Maxine (Tracy) Thompson. On December 29, 1972, Shirley was united in marriage to Paul H. Fick, who preceded her in death on April 9, 2000. Shirley will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Deborah Lynn Baker and husband, Rick, of Holts Summit; two step-daughters, Tarina Bowers of Jefferson City and Tina Bianca and husband, Joe, of Chesterfield; three brothers, Douglas T. Thompson and wife, Vicki, of Cedar Hill, Roger D. Thompson and wife, Connie, of West Monroe, La., and Michael L. Thompson and wife, Diane, of Hobbs, N.M.; three grandchildren, Tiffany Meller and husband, Josh, Emily Vallandingham and husband, Trent, and Abby Baker; three step-grandchildren, Dawn Bowers, Stephen Bianca, and Michael Bianca; four great-grandchildren, Jaxon Meller, Ava Meller, Reid Vallandingham, and Quinn Vallandingham; and several nieces and nephews. Shirley enjoyed traveling with friends and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, also at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
