Samuel A. Kloeppel

Samuel A. Kloeppel, 18, of Columbia, passed away June 6, 2013 in Columbia. Sam was born June 8, 1994 in Kansas City, Mo, the son of Terry and Denise Kloeppel. He was a 2012 graduate of Rock Bridge High School. He was a player on the Rock Bridge Lacrosse team and was a member of the stage crew for Rock Bridge plays. He just finished his freshman year at the University of Missouri. He had been junior counselor at UMC YMCA-Camp Mudd for several summers and was an avid Mizzou sports fan and Cardinals fan. Sam worked at Missouri Book Service, MFA, Inc., Tree Frog Landscaping, Shryock's Corn Maze and was a member of the MU Event Staff. Sam is loved by his family. He was a vibrant person who never met a stranger and had many friends who loved and cared very much about him. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Fulton. Sam is survived by his parents, Terry and Denise Kloeppel of Columbia; his grandparents, Mike and Barbara Lee of Fulton, and Betty (Kloeppel) and Ted Houser of Columbus, Kan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather C.F. Kloeppel Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Broadway Christian Church in Columbia. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, at Parker Funeral Service. Burial is in Central Christian Church Cemetery, Fulton, Mo.
