Clifford C. Beck

Mr. Clifford C. Beck, age 77 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Summit Villa Nursing Center. Clifford was born April 12, 1936, in Jefferson City, Mo., a son of Martin G.G. and Esther F.E. Krueger Beck. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Clifford attended Trinity Lutheran School and was a 1954 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He was employed as a bookbinder with Von Hoffmann for 45 years prior to his retirement in 2001. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1959-1961. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a member of Trinity Lutheran School Alumni Assn., and a member of the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post 5. Survivors include: two brothers, Martin J. Beck and his wife Carol of Jefferson City, Mo. and Leon E.H. Beck and his wife Arline of Holts Summit, Mo.; six nieces and nephews, John Beck and his wife Deana, Leigh Anne Schaper and her husband Mike, Jeffrey Beck and his wife Nora, Steven Beck and his wife Linda, Leonette Siegel, and Donald Beck and his wife Penny. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Mark Nebel officiating. Military honors will be conducted following the service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Legion Forty and Eight Special Needs Christmas Party.
