Ruby Mae "Peggy" Strange, 90, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at her residence. She was born on May 18, 1923, in Beadsville, Mo., the daughter of the late George Luther and Lydie Louise (Wenger) Neal. She was united in marriage to Bernum Tennyson Strange who preceded her in death in 1971. Peggy was a waitress for the Missouri Hotel for over 33 years and worked as a housekeeper for Jefferson City Manor. Survivors include: James (Willie) Strange, San Antonio, Texas; Paul (Lynne) Strange, Jefferson City; nine grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Harry Neal, Fulton; George (Shirley) Neal Jr., Fayette; Dorothy Bosh, Knoxville, Tenn.; Virginia (Don) Higgins, California; and Maxine (Bobby) Gilman, Fulton. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Murray; a brother, Ed Neal; and five sisters, Ruth Rittman, Opal Simpson, Judy Christenson, Faye Wilmsmeyer, and Sarah Custard. Services will be 4 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Samaritan Center, 1310 E.
