Mrs. Isola A. Jordan, age 82 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center. Isola was born September 7, 1930, in Hayden, Mo., the daughter of Perry and Pearl Roberson Martin. She was married on November 13, 1946, in Vienna, Mo. to Carl E. Jordan who preceded her in death on September 14, 1978. A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Isola was employed as an Administrative Assistant with Naught-Naught Insurance Agency from 1977 until her retirement in 1999. She was a volunteer at Capital Region Medical Center. Isola enjoyed gardening and had beautiful flowers at her home. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, neighbors, friends, and her beloved dog, Dusty. Survivors include: three children, Dennis R. Jordan of Westphalia, Mo., Carla L. Casey of Jefferson City, Mo., and Dwayne E. Jordan of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Winifred Terry of Vienna, Mo.; one brother, Donley Martin and his wife Virginia of Dixon, Mo.; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her longtime companion, Dwain Manley who preceded her in death on August 11, 2012; one granddaughter, Rachael Jordan; one sister, Martha Dambach; and two brothers, Elmer Martin and Rockford Martin. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Kenner Cemetery near Dixon, Mo. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
