Jeremy DeVon Roundtree

Jeremy DeVon Roundtree, 31, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. He was born on March 22, 1981, in Jefferson City, the son of Farrell and Brenda Roundtree. Jeremy was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. He also attended Lincoln University. Jeremy was employed part time with the Missouri House of Representative Housekeeping for 12 years. Jeremy accepted Christ at an early age. He showed it in his daily walk and through his music. He was a Junior Deacon and the biggest part of his ministry was his love for music. He was a singer and a very talented drummer. Jeremy leaves to cherish his memories his parents: Brenda and Farrell Roundtree of the home; three sisters: Latayna, Erin and Laycee Roundtree, all of the home; one special sister: Katelynn Davis of Jefferson City; his grandmother: Mary Davis; one niece: Elaina; four nephews: Reggie, Cori, Shay and Josh. He also leaves a huge number of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Private family funeral services will follow. Interment will follow at the Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
