Geraldine Laura Gaston

Geraldine Laura Gaston, 89, Malden, Mo., passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Good Samaritan Home, Quincy, Ill. She was born March 1, 1923, in St. Thomas, Mo., the daughter of Henry Schellman and Emma Kolb Schellman She was married December 14, 1942, in Kansas City, MO., to Dr. Samuel W. Gaston who preceded her in death November 22, 2009. She was a long time member at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Malden, and St. Peter's Church in Quincy, Ill. Survivors include: two daughters: Pamela Chadsey of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Marsha Madsen of Quincy, Ill.; five grandchildren: Stephanie Zanowski of Milwaukee. Wisconsin, Jason Chadsey of Camarillo, Calif. Kyle Chadsey of Orlando, Fla. Michael Madsen of Quincy, Ill. and James Madsen of Austin, Texas; seven great-grandchildren: Sam Zanowski, Zoey Zanowski, Jaxon Chadsey, Alex Madsen, Maria Madsen, Olivia Chadsey and Owen Chadsey. Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Malden, Mo. with Father David Dohogue. officiationg. Interment will be in Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 2013 5-7 p.m., at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and son Sammy Gaston.
