Audrey Jean Huhmann

Audrey Jean Huhmann, 78, of Centertown, died Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center. She was born on September 3, 1934, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Oscar Henry and Florence Caroline (Distler) Weiler. She was united in marriage on May 14, 1960, in Jefferson City, to Edward John Huhmann who survives at the home. Before her marriage, she was the secretary to the Missouri State Veterinarian of Agriculture and later worked in the Athletic Department of Florissant Valley Community College. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, quilting, and sewing. Other survivors include four sons, Dean (Margaret) Huhmann, Florissant; Ronald (Nancy) Huhmann, Florissant; Howard Huhmann, Ballwin; and Albert (Julie) Huhmann, Florissant; five grandchildren, Kimberly Huhmann, Zachary Huhmann, Mary Huhmann, Jennifer Carroll, and John Huhmann; a brother, Jerome (Loretta) Weiler; and a sister, Margaret Kremer, Jefferson City. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Weiler, and a brother-in-law, William Kremer. Mass of Christian Burial will 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at St. Martin Catholic Church, with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Martin Catholic Church Building Fund, 7148 St. Martin's Ave., Jefferson City, MO. 65109 Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
