Colleen S. Lacey

Mrs. Colleen S. Lacey, age 64 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Riverview Nursing Center in Mokane, Mo. Colleen was born October 20, 1946, in Bloomington, Ill., the daughter of James T. and Eunice Whitesell Johnson. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at several area nursing homes until ill health forced her retirement. Survivors include: one daughter, Rebecca Lacey of Apopka, Fla.; one son, John Lacey; one brother, Gene Johnson; and her grandchildren, Billy Reynolds II, Robert Hug, Stephen Lacey, Stephanie Lacey, Rachel Powers, Wanda Reynolds, Samantha Lacey, Jessica Wheat, Jennifer Todd, Shannon Lacey, and Vincent Esposito. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Wheat, one sister, three brothers, and both parents. Private graveside services and interment will be conducted on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Longview Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice.
