Jane Alice Fullmer, 57, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013, in Jefferson City. She was born July 25, 1955, in Jefferson City. She attended the Cathedral of St. Joseph Catholic School and was a 1973 graduate of Helias High School. Jane worked for the Missouri Farm Bureau from 1977 to 2005, and the State of Missouri from 2005, to the present, working with the Department of Revenue and currently the Department of Mental Health. She was an avid bowler, loved to swim and watch movies, and enjoyed socializing with her family and friends. She is survived by three children: Jonathan L. Fullmer and wife Sarah A. Parker-Fullmer of Jefferson City, Nicholas R. Fullmer of Jefferson City, currently stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky with the U.S. Army, Samuel R. Fullmer of Jefferson City, currently stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas, with the U.S. Army; her mother, Nadine Surface of Jefferson City; her father, Chester Surface (Vicki) of Holts Summit; one brother, Jack Surface of Overland Park, Kansas; and five sisters: Mary Vandegriffe of Jefferson City, Donna Buschman of Holts Summit, Joyce Bare of Jefferson City, Judy Fifer of Holts Summit and Janet Paruszkiewicz of Chicago, Illinois; one step-brother, Curt Eichoff; and two step-sisters: Leighann Autenrieth and Jill Underwood. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where a prayer service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. Colin P. Franklin officiating. Private family interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice Compassus, 600 Monroe St., Suite 100, Jefferson City, MO, 65101.
