James D. Mantle

James "Jim" D. Mantle, age 85, of Beaufort, formerly of Linn, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013, at his home. Jim was born on January 24, 1927, a son to the late Rhey and Mary (Gilbert) Mantle. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ann; two daughters, Judy Mantle of San Diego, Calif. and Elaine and her husband Larry Johns of Beaufort; one brother, Don and his wife Clara Mantle of Peoria, Ariz.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
