Alfred Joseph Morff
Alfred Joseph Morff, 62, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at his home. He was born May 20, 1950, in Jefferson City, a son of Bernard and Martina (Lueckenhoff) Morff. He was a graduate of Fatima High School. Alfred helped build the nuclear plant in Callaway County and had previously worked for J.C. Manufacturing Company as a laborer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing construction, plumbing, Harley Davidson motorcycles, working on cars, playing guitar and harmonica. Alfred is survived by a special friend: Shirley McBride; two sons: Joseph Morff and special friend Carla Trimble of Jefferson City, and Christopher (Crystal) Morff of New Bloomfield; one daughter: Tanya Morff of the state of Wyoming; two brothers: Dan (the late Kitty) Morff and Mike (Diana) Morff; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one sister: Jane Groene. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2013, at the Houser Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services with full military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Clohessy officiating.
