Larry Love, 68, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born February 7, 1944, in Fulton, the son of the late Harold and Helen (Dixon) Love. Larry was united in marriage to Myrtle Kay Kemp on June 16, 1962. She preceded him in death. Larry was a life long resident of Callaway County. He attended Fulton High School. He then went on to work as a welder at Westinghouse and as a custodian for the New Bloomfield School District. He is survived by his three sons, Johnny Love and his wife Karena, Robert Love and his wife Leigh, and Harold Love and his wife Michelle; two daughters, Becky Halderman and her husband Stan, and Diana Phillips; one brother, Harold Ray Love and his wife Marjorie; five granddaughters, Heather Love, Lisa Love, Miranda Love, Lena Love, and Madison Love; eight step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Rick Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service. Interment will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
