Emergine Elizabeth Schulte, 88, of Osage Bend, died Thursday, February 21,2013, at Westphalia Hills. She was born on April 12, 1924, in Argyle, the daughter of the late Herman Henry and Ottilia Louise (Bock) Wieberg. She was united in marriage on May 24, 1944, in Taos, to Paul John Schulte who preceded her in death on September 6, 1996. Mrs. Schulte was a homemaker and worked for McDonald Douglas, Oberman's, International Shoe, and McGraw Edison. She was a member of St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church in Osage Bend; St. Margaret Ladies Organization, and St. Margaret Quilting Circle. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. Mrs. Schulte will be remembered by her family as a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Survivors include: eight children, Rita (Robert) Wolken, Osage Bend; Sylvester (Cheryl) Schulte, Olean; Leo (Kathy) Schulte, St. Thomas; Marilyn (Ron) Doerhoff, Brazito; Sharon (Charles) Rademan, Osage Bend; Joyce (Steve) Bauer, Jefferson City; Phyllis (Brian) Bacon, Fla.; Jeanne Pliska, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Hilda Schulte, Osage Bend; 47 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Willemina (Ernie) Trachsel, Westphalia; Louise (Lawrence) Moeller, Jefferson City; Catherine (Bernard) Rustemeyer, St. Martins; Leona (John) Werdenhausen, Holts Summit; Esther (Ronnie) Doggett, Taos; JoAnn (Lawrence) Wansing, Meta; Ellanora (Charles) Huhmann, Holts Summit; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Wieberg, Rich Fountain. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Leonard and Robert Schulte; two grandchildren; Wayne Paul Wolken and Mary Beth Rademan; one great-grandchild, Cheyenne Bauer; two sisters, Bernita Hake and Viola Wieberg; and a brother, Norbert Wieberg. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2013, at St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church in Osage Bend with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 1:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 9-10 a.m., Monday, at the church.
