Ruth M. Hayden

Mrs. Ruth M. Hayden, age 82 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center. Ruth was born July 29, 1930, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Floyd H. and Delphia E. Dearixon Stewart. She was married on January 24, 1948, in Callaway County, Mo., to Bueford T. "Bubby" Hayden, who preceded her in death on April 3, 1987. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Ruth attended Jefferson City Public Schools. A homemaker, Ruth enjoyed reading, but most importantly, spending time with her family. Survivors include: three sons, Michael S. Hayden and his wife Jo of Holts Summit, Mo., Timothy M. Hayden and his wife Sherry of Jefferson City, Mo., and Tracy B. Hayden and his wife Donna of Jefferson City, Mo.; two daughters, Terry D. Corrigan and her husband Dennis of Jefferson City, Mo. and Deborah S. Hayden of Jefferson City, Mo.; five grandchildren, Angelia D. Plumb and her husband Steve of Jefferson City, Mo., William B. Corrigan and his wife Tammy of Jefferson City, Mo., Tera D. Hayden of Jefferson City, Mo., Travis K. Hayden of Jefferson City, Mo., and Josie I. Hayden of Jefferson City, Mo.; and five great-grandchildren, Ethan J. Plumb, Morgan E. Plumb, Austin K. Corrigan, William A. Corrigan, and Paige A. Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Boone County, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of their choice.
