Agnes C. Dudenhoeffer

Agnes C. Dudenhoeffer, age 87, of Frankenstein, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. Agnes was born December 17, 1925, in Frankenstein, a daughter to the late Peter and Anna (Haslag) Troesser. Agnes attended St. Mary's School in Frankenstein. On November 12, 1946, she was united in marriage to Aloysius Dudenhoeffer in Frankenstein. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1996. Agnes was a homemaker and a lifelong Frankenstein resident. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein, Ladies Sodality and the Quilting Circle. Agnes enjoyed quilting, gardening, baking, making jellies and spending time with her family. She was a participant of the Miraculous Medal. Agnes is survived by six sons, Harold and his wife Betty Dudenhoeffer of Linn, Stanley Dudenhoeffer of Chamois, Joseph and his wife Alice Dudenhoeffer of Linn, Dennis and his wife Joyce Dudenhoeffer of Chamois, Mark and his wife Jane Dudenhoeffer of Linn and Glenn and his wife Christina Dudenhoeffer of Chamois; two daughters, Carol Frank and her husband Henry of Rich Fountain and Agnes Nilges and her husband Gary of Linn; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her spouse and parents, Agnes was preceded in death by an infant daughter Ann and infant son Gerard, three brothers and seven sisters. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein with Fr. John Schmitz as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church.
