Charles Taylor Wade, 70, of New Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. He was born March 18, 1943, in Kentucky, the son of the late Arthur Wade and the late Mayme (Coomer) Wade. On January 18, 1969, Charles was united in marriage to Sandra (Ramseier) Wade, who survives his passing at the home. Charles was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and served in the US Navy. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandkids. Charles always helped others any time that he could. In addition to his wife, Charles will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Wes Wade and wife, Jenny, of Fulton, and Mike Wade and wife, Cathy, of St. Martins; two brothers, Wes Wade of Hiseville, Ky., and Kenny Wade of Cave City, Ky.; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Devin, Victoria, Trent, and Jason. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Wade. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Hopewell Baptist Church in New Bloomfield with Reverend Rick Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday also at Hopewell Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Hopewell Cemetery.
