Ron E. Biesemeyer, 68, of Mexico, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at Audrain Medical Center. Ron was born Nov. 1, 1944, a son of Elmer and Elenor (Falgout) Biesemeyer. On Sept. 5, 1970, in Jefferson City, he married Judy Burns, who survives. He was a graduate of New Franklin High School. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Ron was an Optician and was a founding partner of Precision Eyecare which opened in 1978. He retired in 2007. He was a member of United Church of Christ, New Franklin, Mo., Mexico Optimist Club, and Mexico Rotary Club. In addition to his wife Judy, survivors include a son, Chad Biesemeyer and fiancÈe Vanessa Sproule, Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada; a daughter, Angie Campbell, Mexico; a grandson, Cole Campbell, Mexico; a brother, Rick Biesemeyer, Mexico; and a son-in-law, Vince Campbell, Mexico. His mother and father preceded him in death. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Kukuk officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to be given to Mexico Optimist Club or Mexico Rotary Club.
