Christie Lynn Otto

Christie Lynn Otto, 39, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, in Jefferson City. She was born August 22, 1973, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Herbert Otto and Kathleen Maxey. Christie was kind hearted and made everyone smile. She would give anything and everything to see the people she loved happy. She was an amazing sister, daughter, mother, aunt and grandmother. She will be missed dearly and knowing that she is on gods side will help make this a little easier. She is survived by her mother: Kathleen Maxey (husband James) of Chamois; father: Herbert Otto (wife Sharon) of Taos; grandfather: Paul Page of Fouke, Arkansas; three daughters: Brittney Otto, Destany Benny and Carlie Schmitz; grandmother of Baby Otto; four sisters: Michelle McPeak, Cynthia Carter, Susan Otto and Megan Pratte all of Jefferson City; five nieces: Heather Otto, Jamie Otto, Brooke Dudenhoeffer, Jessica McPeak and Kiley Pratte; six nephews: Joshua Carter, Michael McPeak, Jeffrey McPeak, Christopher Miles, Gavin Pratte and Ethan Pratte; six great-nieces: Grace Dudenhoeffer, Abbigail Martin, Addilynn Otto, Delilah Davis, Ashlynne McPeak and Faith Dudenhoeffer; and five great-nephews: Carter Muntali, Elijah Otto, Gabriel Hoffman, Conner McPeak and Parker McPeak. She was preceded in death by Amanda Nicole McPeak who will be waiting to welcome her with open arms. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Joe Skiles officiating. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
