When her children were younger, she was always a huge supporter of them in any activity they participated in at the moment: swim club, wrestling, student council, or football to name a few. She always had that caring, supportive nature and was currently helping out as a JC Champion Mentor for a student at Moreau Heights. She was also an avid gardener who spent countless hours working on her beautiful flower gardens. She enjoyed traveling and camping, creating scrapbooks of the travels, reading books, and numerous activities in Central United Church of Christ. Survivors include: her husband of 47 years, Larry Rizner; two sons, Tim Rizner and his wife Amy of Dardenne Prairie, Mo. and Chad Rizner and his wife Melissa of Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Blake Rizner and Grant Rizner, both of Jefferson City, Mo., and Ben Rizner of Dardenne Prairie, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2013.
