Mrs. Blaine G. Ryan, age 61 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012, at her home. Blaine was born on October 8, 1950, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of William C. and Mary Pinet Gamble. Blaine graduated from Los Gatos High School in Los Gatos, Calif., and later graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara. After graduation from college, Blaine moved to Chicago where she started her family. A resident of central Missouri for the past 15 years, she was employed with the Missouri Dept. of Corrections at Tipton where she taught literacy for 15 years. Blaine was a member of the Center for Buddhist Development in Jefferson City. She also enjoyed reading, antiquing, and attending auctions. Survivors include: one daughter, Stephanie Clark and her husband Robert of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, Alex Ryan of San Francisco, Calif.; her mother, Mary Gamble of Jefferson City, Mo.; one granddaughter, Keeley Clark; one brother, Andy Gamble and his wife Diane of Jefferson City, Mo.; and two nieces, Amanda and Emily Gamble. She was preceded in death by her father, William Gamble. A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later time.
