Danny Lee Beene

Danny Lee Beene, 59, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at his home. He was born October 31, 1952, in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Orlyn Wray and Patricia Ann (Jones) Homan. He was a 1972 graduate of Sedalia Smith-Cotton High School. Danny was a car salesman for Dodge City Chrysler in Columbia, Missouri. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, hunting, dancing, and barbecuing. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He also loved to dance the Jitterbug with his mother Pat. Danny is survived by four children: Candy Casteel of Ashland; Ellissa Fulks of Russellville; Daniell King (husband Duane) of Jefferson City; Daniel Beene (fiancÈe Tiffany Schulte) of Jefferson City; his mother: Patricia "Pat" Homan of Columbia; two sisters: Crystal Homan of Rocheport and Edie Homan of Columbia; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father: Orlyn Homan. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Funeral Services to follow at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Rick Rehkop officiating. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia, Missouri. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation for Youth Hunting & Fishing Education.
