Ava Nicole Smith

Ava Nicole Smith, 4 month old infant daughter of Michael and Rachel (Farwell) Smith, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012, at her home. She was born July 6, 2012 in Jefferson City. In Ava's short time here on earth she touched and changed so many lives and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Along with her parents, she is survived by one brother: Jace Jacobs of the home; paternal grandparents: Thomas and Monica Smith of Jefferson City; maternal grandparents: Allen Farwell and fiancÈ Kristi Cotton of Eldon and Colleen Farwell of Jefferson City; maternal great grandparents: Dan and Peggy Garst of Iowa; three aunts: Nicole Willibrand of Jefferson City, Amanda Fisher (husband Phillip) of Jefferson City and Cassie Smith of Columbia; two uncles: Chris Fisher of Jefferson City and Larry Rackers and fiancÈ Kyra Farris of Bonnots Mill and numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Sam Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the SIDS Research Fund.
