Pauline Sara O'Hanlon, 85, of Jefferson City, died Friday, October 19, 2012, at Villa Maria Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born on July 7, 1927, in Perryville, Mo., the daughter of the late Rudolph John and Cecilia Pauline (DuVall) Bergman. Pauline received her Masters degree from the University of Missouri in Human Nutrition. She was united in marriage on October 1, 1949, in Farmington, Mo., to George Edward O'Hanlon Jr., who preceded her in death on September 3, 2012. Pauline was a homemaker, and worked for Lincoln University in the Nutrition Lab and retired from the Missouri State Division of Aging. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Janus Club, Daughters of Isabella, St. Josephs Women's Association, Cole County Extension Service Board, University of Missouri Alumni Association, Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging Board, and St. Vincent High School Alumni. Survivors include: three children: Patricia O'Hanlon, Irving, Texas, Michael (Sharon) O'Hanlon, Pleasant Hill, Mo., Robert O'Hanlon, Jefferson City; three grandchildren: Ryan (Erica) O'Hanlon, Meghan O'Hanlon, and Caitlin O'Hanlon; and one brother, John Bergman, Farmington, Mo. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn O'Hanlon; and a sister, Margaret Weber. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, October 22, 2012, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Clarence E. Wiederholt officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:30-5 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 2 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 2305 West Main Street, Jefferson City, MO 65109; or to the Cathedral of St. Joseph School, 2303 West Main Street, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
