Linda L Holliday

Linda L. Holliday, 72, of California, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born January 4, 1940, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Clem and Frankie (Elgin) Surface. On January 30, 1958, Linda was united in marriage in Jefferson City to Herbert F. Holliday, who preceded her in death on January 28, 1970. She is survived by three children, Herbert F. (Gala) Holliday, Karen (David) Roush, Patsy Hunger Faulkner; her mother, Frankie Surface; one brother, Daniel Surface; five sisters, Minnie Kirwan, Juanita Woods, Patsy Bottoms, Verna Clark, Birdie Flora; five grandchildren, Justin (Meghan) Holliday, Meredith Holliday, Alec Holliday, Liliana Faulkner, Andrew Faulkner; and one great-grandchild, Skyler Blevins. In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her father, Clem Surface, and two brothers, Lester and Troy Surface. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Interment followed in Riverview Cemetery.
