Ella Mae Klatt, age 64, of Russellville, died Thursday, October 11, 2012, at St. Joseph's Bluffs in Jefferson City. She was born November 15, 1947, in Wyandotte County, Kansas a daughter of Charles T. "Blackie" and Juanita Mae "Sarge" Johnson. On September 23, 1972, Ella was united in marriage to Robert Klatt, who survives at their home. She was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School in Kansas City, Kansas. She was an accountant with the Office of Administration for the State of Missouri for 26 years. Ella was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church-Stringtown and the AGA. She enjoyed working crossword and suduko puzzles and going to the lake with her husband. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lynn Spalding of Kansas City; a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Amanda Klatt of Centertown; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles T. and Deanna Johnson of Kansas City, Kansas; Ronald G. Johnson of Kansas City and Scott C. Johnson of Versailles; three grandchildren, Daniel Spalding and wife Carly of El Paso, Texas; Tiffany Taylor and husband Matthew of Schwenfurd, Germany and Arabella Klatt of Centertown, two great-grandchildren, Kaci Taylor and Mitchell Haling, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, at St. John's Lutheran Church-Stringtown with Pastor Warren Brandt officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery-Stringtown. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
