Joan Marie Muench

Joan Marie Muench, 84, of Eldon, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City. She was born February 7, 1928, in St. Louis. She was a homemaker. Survivors include: two daughters, Charlene (Ralph) Holdt of Eldon, and Karen (Richard) McMenomy of House Springs; one son, James (Jeanne) Muench of Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter-in-law, Paige Muench; one brother, Ronald (Joyce) Thomure; five grandchildren, Richie McMenomy, Michael Muench, Jennifer Liebrach, Magie Mohuiddin, and Matthew Muench; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Thomure; her mother, Margaret Thomure; her spouse, Charles Muench; and one son, Donald Muench. Funeral services were held at 12 noon, Monday, October 8, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, New Melle, Burial was in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery, New Melle.
