Sarah Grace Beck

Sgt. Sarah Grace Haralson Beck, 29, of Lee's Summit, completed her earthly journey on Friday, October 5, 2012. Sarah was born on September 15, 1983, in Millington, Tenn. She graduated in 2001 from Cabot, Ark. High School, was currently serving in the U.S. Army National Guard, and graduated in 2012 from DeVry University with a degree in Accounting. She is survived by a son: Nicholas, of the home; parents: Danny and Kathy Haralson of Lee's Summit; one brother: Adam (Lindsay) Haralson of North Kansas City; paternal grandmother: Latricia Haralson of Eustis, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carl and Grace Schlesinger of Tuscumbia, and paternal grandfather, Bobby Haralson of Alabama. Funeral services were held Monday, October 8 at 10 a.m. at Langsford Funeral Home, Lee's Summit. Another funeral service was held at Mt. Zion Christian Church in Tuscumbia on Monday, October 8 at 3 p.m. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House or Show Me Children's Home.
