Cora Ann LePage

Cora Ann LePage, 69, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on April 2, 1943, in Macks Creek, Missouri, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ellen (Creech) Garrett. She was united in marriage on February 11, 1981, in Jefferson City to Paul LePage. Cora was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a devoted caretaker for the elderly at St. Joseph's Home and Heisinger Bluffs until her retirement. Cora was a member of the Central United Church of Christ and the American Legion Post 5 Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, going to the boat and most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Paul, Cora is survived by five children: Larry Brown (Wendy) of Eldon, Missouri, Dale Brown (Linda) of Buffalo, Missouri, Linda Brown of Springfield, Missouri, Brenda Patterson (Keith) of Russellville, Missouri, and Billy Joe Brown (Lona) of Wheatland, Missouri; two stepsons: Phil LePage (Sharyln) and Bill LePage (Lesley) of Jefferson City, Missouri; one sister, Opal Bell of Lee's Summit, Missouri; one brother, Ron Garrett (Tammy) of Macks Creek, Missouri; 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, and from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Gallamore officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture.
