Mary Ann Weidinger

Mary Ann Weidinger, age 86, of St. Louis, departed this life on Saturday, November 24, 2012, in the Nazareth Living Center, St. Louis. She was born October 19, 1926, at Vienna, a daughter of Gerhardt Francis and Helen Margaret (Meronel) Weidinger. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father on November 9, 1969; her mother on March 21, 1984; one brother, F. Joseph Weidinger, in 2002; and one brother-in-law, Joseph T. Schmitz, in 1976. She was a parishioner of Mark's Catholic Church, St. Louis, and the Sisters of Loretto Society for 25 years. During her working life she was employed at Washington University, St. Louis, in the music library for 25 years, as well as other catholic schools teaching piano and music throughout her career. She enjoyed painting and loved refinishing furniture. Those left to mourn the passing of Mary Ann include: two sisters, Angela Schmitz and Veronica Weidinger both of Centennial, Colorado; one sister-in-law, Virginia M. Berhorst, St. Louis; four nephews; two nieces; three great-nephews; three great-nieces; cousins; and other relatives and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mary Ann at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012, in the Visitation Catholic Church, Vienna, with the Rev. Msgr. Marion J. Makarewicz celebrating. Interment will be in the Visitation Cemetery, Vienna, under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012, and 8:30 - 9:30 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
