Wilma Verna Mistler, 82, of Lake Ozark, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, at her residence. Wilma was born in College Hill, on April 9, 1930, to the late John F. and Cora (Branson) Carwile. On February 28, 1948, in Hermann, she was united in marriage to Leonard Mistler. Her survivors include her sons, Ron Mistler and wife Glenda of Owensville, Michael Mistler and wife A.J. of Jefferson City, Jeffrey Mistler and wife Cara-Lynn of Lake Ozark; daughters, Dianne Wiegers and husband Phillip of Owensville and Tracie Henningsen of Lake Ozark; brothers, Ben Carwile of Owensville and Stanley Carwile and wife Ruth of Owensville; sisters, Wineford Morgan of Owensville and Verlee Ellis and husband Sonny of Washington; and 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; her brothers, Earl Carwile, Floyd Carwile, Beryl Carwile and Dorsey Carwile; sister, Eva Mae Carwile; and by a grandson, Tracy Bunting. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Chaplain Jeremy Caudel officiating. Burial will be in the Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville. Visitation for the public will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
