Mary Woratzeck

Mrs. Mary L. Woratzeck, age 74 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, May 7, 2012 at St. Mary's Health Center. Mary was born June 7, 1937 in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Carl and Mattie L. Lenihan Danzeisen. She was married on July 5, 1958 in St. Louis, Mo., to Jerome C. "Jerry" Woratzeck. Mary graduated from Notre Dame High School in St. Louis, Mo. A homemaker, she was an excellent seamstress and gourmet cook. She also enjoyed reading, but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include: her husband of 53 years, Jerry Woratzeck; one son, Erik J. Woratzeck and his wife Lori of California, Mo.; one daughter, Laura J. Quillin and her husband Shawn of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Dixie L. Danzeisen of St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren, Jake Woratzeck, Molly Quillin and Allyson Quillin. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jennie Levy. Visitation will be at Kutis Funeral Home, Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, Mo., from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2012. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
