Pauline Bean

Mrs. Pauline Bean, age 101 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Oak Tree Villa Nursing Center. Pauline was born October 9, 1910, in Scott County, Mo., the daughter of John and Roxie Sifford Cranick. She was married on November 5, 1928, in Morely, Mo., to Lyman L. Bean, who preceded her in death on March 8, 1995. Pauline was a homemaker and mother to her children all of her life. She was a member of the Richwoods Methodist Church in Scott County, Mo., until moving to Jefferson City when health issues prevented her active participation in church life. Survivors include: one daughter, Anita Link of Jefferson City, Mo.; three sons, Willard Bean and his wife Connie of Jefferson City, Mo., Wayne Bean and his wife Carol of Union, Mo., and Gary Bean and his wife Jo Dean of Niceville, Fla.; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nine great-great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Ira Cranick and Elmer Cranick; and two sisters, Amy Rhodes and Lois Elliott. Visitation will be at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo. from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home with the Reverend Russell Roland officiating. Interment will be at the Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, Mo. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2001 South Lindberg Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131.
