Marilyn Ann Williams-Lewis, 58, of Jefferson City, Mo., went home to Glory on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was born July 31, 1953, in New Boston, Texas, to the late Felix and Mary Ann (Hopkins) Williams. Marilyn also known as "Annie Peal" attended Vashawn High School in St. Louis, Nichols Career Center and Metro Business College, both in Jefferson City, Mo. Marilyn gave her life to Christ at an early age. She loved singing in the choir, going to numerous church conventions, as well as every church activity. She was a member of Bibleway Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. She worked for Scholastic Inc., Chesebrough-Ponds, Meadowbrook Manor and the Ramada Hotel, all in Jefferson City, Mo. She enjoyed garage sales, attending sporting events, traveling, cooking, walking, and spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters: Candace Williams of Columbia, Mo. and Tiwan Lewis of Jefferson City, Mo.; two sons: Clarence Williams (wife Keesha) of Kansas City, Mo. and King Knowledge born of Jefferson City, Mo.; 12 grandchildren: Tyesha Williams, Audrienne Williams, Clarence Williams Jr., Camille Williams, Cheree Williams, Dishae Johnson, Faith Lewis, Cordell Williams, Tyara Williams, Qualeashai Robinson, Tyrice Whitaker, and Hope Lewis; five brothers: Felix Williams, Wendel Williams, Alvin Williams, Billy John Williams and Stephen Williams; four sisters: Janette White, Karen Williams, Sherron Williams and Teyone Wilford. She was preceded in death by one brother: Charles Ray Williams, and one grandchild: Chantel Whitaker. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. A Repass will follow immediately after the service at the West Point Executive Center, 2701 West Main Street, next to Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Interment will be private for the family. Expressions of sympathy and contributions may be made to the Marilyn Lewis Memorial Fund.
