Charles Kiessling

Charles Hugh Kiessling, age 77, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at his home. Charles was born May 2, 1934, in Brazito, the son of Charles and Ella Alice Slocum Kiessling. He married Helena Cramer on October 1, 1955, in Jefferson City, and she survives. Charles worked for IBM as a Field Engineer until his retirement. Survivors include: his wife Helena of Jefferson City; a daughter, Anita "Kiessling" Caver and her husband Jerome of Columbia; grandchildren, Medea Elizabeth Caver, Cramer Jerome Caver, and Levi Robert Harmon; and one great-granddaughter, Ellyson Kinley Caver. He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Hugh and Steven Charles, and sisters, Rosina Kielen and Mary Louise Staton. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Robinson Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with burial following in Centertown Cemetery, Centertown. Memorials may be given to Hospice Compassus of Cole County.
