Gaylon Maschmeyer

Gaylon Maschmeyer, 52, of Eldon, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012, in Columbia. Gaylon was born September 19, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. to Richard and Vonda Bollinger maschmeyer. He later married Marianne Horton. He worked as a journeyman plumber from 1989-1993, before opening his own plumbing business "The Ozark Plumbing Company" in 1993. He owned and operated his company until his death. He is survived by his father, Richard Maschmeyer of; wife, Marianne Horton; son, Paul R. Maschmeyer; brother, Kevin Maschmeyer; sister, Karen Hart and husband Gordon, all of Eldon, and by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vonda; sisters, Donna Presta and Marlene Sandlin. Memorial services will be 3 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2012, at the First Assembly of God Church in Eldon.
