Keith Leon LeCuru, 52, of Taos, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at his residence. He was born on September 23, 1959, in Jefferson City, the son of Urban W. and Elsie M (Kliethermes) LeCuru. He was united in marriage on October 26, 1985, in Folk, to Rhonda Scheppers, who survives at the home. Keith attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic School and was a 1978 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He worked as a Printer at Capital Region Medical Center. He was previously employed with Brown Printing and Von Hoffmann Press. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Keith was very particular about his work and was able to make or fix anything. He enjoyed listening to music. Keith loved his family and friends, and was especially proud of his children. He is also survived by three children: Cory LeCuru, Jenna LeCuru (fiancé Justin McGeorge) and Kaylie LeCuru, all of the home; his mother: Elsie LeCuru of Jefferson City; four brothers: Mark LeCuru of Taos, Scott LeCuru (Tammy Morgan) of Taos, Alan LeCuru (wife Phyllis) of Wardsville, and Eric LeCuru (wife Bonnie) of Wardsville; three sisters: Donna Dickey, Lisa Norment (husband Gary) and Kristy Strope (husband Gary), all of Taos; father and mother-in-law: Joe and Dolores Scheppers of Folk; brother-in-laws: John Scheppers (wife Laura) of Folk and Brian Scheppers (wife Dana) of Folk; sister-in-laws: Laura Henke (husband Greg) of Taos, Pam Beck (husband Lonnie) of Taos and Sandy Stover (husband Kevin) of Wardsville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, coworkers and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; one son: Aaron LeCuru; one brother: Warren LeCuru; one brother-in-law: Les Dickey; and one sister-in-law: Kate LeCuru. Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Taos Knights of Columbus Hall, where a prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Fr. Wayne Boyer officiating. Interment will follow in Cadet Creek Cemetery in Bonnots Mill. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Children of Keith LeCuru.
